From left to right: Smashbox Studio Skin Foundation in 2.2 Light Golden Beige, MAC lipstick in Freckletone, MAC Studio Fix Powder in NC35, BITE Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Tart.
Why?
First of all, I wanted another long-wearing and sweat-proof foundation that actually comes with a pump. I've heard that Smashbox's Studio Skin foundation is basically a dupe for EL Double Wear, but even better. The shade selection is strange and 2.2 showed up orange on my pale hands, but it's a perfect match for NC35.
Speaking of NC35, I picked up a lighter Studio Fix powder to match my current shade. This is my fool-proof powder foundation when I don't want to think about my complexion. It's great as a setting powder or as a full coverage foundation, depending on what application method you use.
MAC Freckletone is a supposed dupe for NARS lipstick in Belle Du Jour, but ain't nobody got thirty bucks to shell out on a lipstick! I was looking for a peachy nude with a hint of shine, and Freckletone is spot on!
Finally, I saw that my local JCP's Sephora now carries BITE Beauty and got so overzealous that I swatched all of the High Pigment pencils onto my hand. They felt super creamy and were all shockingly opaque, so I picked up Tart to try.
Enjoy, I would love to do a FOTD and review of each single product for you!
