Review| Chanel Rouge Coco Hydrating Creme Lip Color

Quick blurp: The Chanel Rouge Coco Ultra Hydrating Lip Color ($36) is great!

Yes, it's a splurge but not an unwarranted one. I was in Vegas, sipping a 20 oz Mai Tai, and making poor choices all around when I saw the glowing Chanel boutique inside the Forum Shops. Not to mention, I had forgotten to bring a lip balm with me and didn't have anything but a dry red lip liner for the entire weekend trip.

So I splurged and picked up Mademoiselle, one of the many shades for this new reformulation with pinks, nudes, berries, reds...you name it, all named after the people in Chanel's life. Not that I really care, but Mademoiselle is one of the two colors brought back in this new line. It looks very dark: almost a brown mauve in the tube but is the perfect MLBB color for my skintone.

It needs reapplication every 3 or 4 hours or immediately after a meal, but this is a lipstick formula that can be worn as a balm! It's super hydrating, doesn't flake or peel, is reasonably pigmented and not patchy, and isn't scented.

The tube snaps shut and doesn't come apart in your purse.

I love it! I may pick up quite a few more but only one at a time to comfort myself for making poor life choices like buying 40 dollah lipsticks. I have my eye on Teheran, Coco, Roussy, Etienne, and Arthur!
