Kat Von D Metal Crush Eyeshadow in Thunderstruck ($21) is secretly the best highlighter for light to light-medium skin. It's one of 11 eyeshadows recently released by KVD...all of which looking positively MOLTEN.
Don't you worry about that excessive fallout...it's all fairy dust. (Thanks to Batalashbeauty for creating this lem.) It looks pretty tame in pan. I suggest you go swatch it in stores, because one woman's "lovely" can be everyone else's "tacky."
It's a lovely white based eyeshadow with gold and pink shift that looks ravishing in the inner corners of the eyes or any high points on your face. It's not chalky or stark, and doesn't pack a huge punch like Becca's SSP if you use a light hand. See for yourself! I put it on the high points of my nose and cheekbones.
It only catches the light slightly in natural daylight but you can really see the shift in dimmer lighting. It's worth a try if you're under budget and want a multi-tasking product. It wears well on the skin and doesn't fade or smudge, nor does it look powdery.
